American Horror Story is a television show consisting of a collection of miniseries; each season containing it's very own setting, plot, and different characters. The first season showcases Murder House, where a family moves into a haunted mansion occupied by the spirits of all that were killed inside. The following seasons go on to feature an asylum in the 1960s, the dark world of witches and voodoo, a carnival-like freakshow, a hotel that tortures it's guests, the mysterious town of Roanoke, and a cult.
