An unscrupulous and hilariously narcissistic mother decides that she needs more attention, so she devises a plan to make it seem as if her 11-year-old daughter has been kidnapped. With the eyes of the world focused firmly on her, she quickly becomes addicted to the spotlight. However, her plan quickly begins to unravel. When others become less willing to cooperate and the circumstances start to turn less than favorable, it seems as if her star may soon sour.
