140 million people were wiped from existence 3 years ago and those that were leftover struggle to survive amongst the grief, paranoia and confusion. The series focuses on the survivors of Mapleton, NY. They struggle with faith and rebellion as they brace themselves for the unexpected. From this struggle stems a group of rebels called The Guilty Remnant. The town police chief aims to keep peace between the good and evil, while trying to make sure his own family stays on the right side.
