A high school teen, Claire, discovers a red and black box that grants seven wishes to whoever owns it. After a bully goes too far, Claire wishes for the girl to rot and her wish comes true. The wish granting seems impossible to Claire, but she continues making wishes and receiving everything that she desires. When people around Claire start dying in gruesome ways, Claire's research reveals that an entity lives inside the box and makes her pay a price for every wish it grants. Claire believes she can control it, but no other owner has ever survived this evil.
