Emily is funny, outgoing and spontaneous. Although she is a bit insecure, she attempts to live life to the fullest. Her mother is bland, reserved and extremely cautious. After Emily's boyfriend dumps her, she convinces her mother to go with her to Ecuador for a fun and exciting vacation. The only problem is that Emily's risky attitude leads the two to be kidnapped and taken deep into the jungle. As they try to escape their kidnappers and make it back to civilization, they both learn that they have a lot more in common with one another then they ever imagined.
