Business tycoon Harriet Lawler is used to controlling everyone and everything around her. So when the end of her life approaches, she's determined to make sure her obituary is exactly the way she wants it. But the young journalist she hires to write it for her is more interested in getting at the truth than repeating Harriet's version of events. Slowly an unlikely friendship springs up between the two women as they battle over issues of truth and legacy.
