Some time during the enlightened period of the 18th century, Peter the Great orders Jonathan Green, an English explorer and cartographer, to journey to Russian and the Far East to craft him a map based on his travels. Along the way, Jonathan experiences fantastic adventures that can't always be explained by the science of his age. He discovers a plethora of wonders as he deals with confrontations with princesses from China, skilled users of the deadliest of martial arts and types of creatures no human has ever seen before. Jonathan must also face the infamous Dragon King without getting himself killed if he is to finish his task.
