A mom living in a remote farmhouse is determined to try to teach her daughter about anatomy and how to be undaunted by death. One day, a dark visitor destroys the idyll of her daughter's family life, which leads her to be both extremely traumatized and uniquely curious by the events that have recently transpired. In years to come, her daughter's isolation, terrifying nature as well as her longing to connect to the universe coincide and take on a disturbing form.
