In recovery for a severe heroin addiction, genius investigator Sherlock Holmes has moved to New York City to help the police with their workload while also running from the demons of his past. One complication he didn't expect is a sober companion by the name of Joan Watson. Hired by Sherlock's father to keep him in line, Joan will move into his house, tag along on his investigations and do her best to prevent a relapse... but where Sherlock originally sees a nuisance to his lifestyle, he'll actually gain a lifelong partner and friend.
