The Navy Criminal Investigative Service has offices all over the United States, and even sends agents onto Naval vessels and bases all over the world. The office in New Orleans, Louisiana is led by Special Agent Dwayne Pride, who also lives out of his base of operations. He recruits former police detective Christopher LaSalle to help him work military cases, and the duo are joined by former agent-afloat Meredith Brody and more teammates over time, working cases throughout Louisiana and the surrounding area.
