The Tunnel follows Karl Roebuck, a British detective and Elise Wassermann, a French detective who are investigating crimes committed by a vicious serial killer. The killer appears to be behind the deaths of both a French politician and a British prostitute, which brings the detective duo together to work on the case. As the series continues, it appears that there may be more than meets the eye to this serial killer. With a potential social agenda, Karl and Elise must capture the criminal before he murders again.
