Deb enjoys a girls' night out on the eve of the Independence Day holiday, only to wake up the next morning in a strange man's home. With no memory of how she came to be with Ryan, the hottest guy in town, Deb awkwardly heads home. On her drive home, though, Deb soon realizes that she and Ryan are the only two people left in Portland, Maine, who are not zombies. As the unlikely pair comically tries to survive the many flesh-eating townies, they learn that romance can blossom even in a zombie apocalypse.
