Pee-Wee Herman works as a cook at a diner in Fairville and has never taken a vacation in his life. But a chance meeting with actor Joe Manganiello convinces head to New York. Getting there, however, does not prove easy. First he runs afoul of bank robbers, then winds up in a flying car that crashes in the forest. He wanders until coming across an Amish community and settles in with them. But when the bank robbers show up, Pee-Wee must do what he can to protect his new Amish friends from them.
