The daily adventures or misadventures of Ilana and Abbi are examined. These two Jewish women in their twenties experience many mishaps, carelessness and frivolity of living in the "Big Apple." Ilana does her best to avoid working as much as possible while pursuing her endless self-gratification, and Abbi does her best to become a successful illustrator. Unfortunately, she often gets sidetracked and drawn into Ilana's latest antics and unrestrained fun.
