Barry Allen's mother was killed in front of him when he was a child. Although Barry saw a fast-running man dressed in yellow, the police believed that his father committed the crime. Fifteen years later, Barry works for the Central City Police while searching for his mother's real killer when a particle accelerator accident occurs at S.T.A.R. Labs. Barry awakes from a coma to discover that he can run at superhuman speeds. Yet, Barry wasn't the only one affected by the accident. When people with different powers threaten the city, Barry dedicates himself to using his own to stop them.
