There is an entire world out there that most people never see. The Winchesters, on the other hand, have seen too much of it. Twenty-two years ago, former marine John Winchester discovered that his wife, Mary, was murdered by a demon. He raised his boys, Dean and Sam, to hunt the demon and destroy any monsters they come across during their search. Dean believes in the "the family business," but Sam just wants a normal life. When John goes missing after claiming that he finally found the demon, Dean has no choice but to track Sam down to help him.
