The Strain Season 2 (2014)

Not all plagues can be easily explained or conquered by science. Dr. Ephraim Goodweather might not be father of the year, but he is one of the best investigators the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has in New York. When a plane arrives at John F. Kennedy International Airport under mysterious circumstances, Eph's team is called in to determine the fate of the passengers and crew. Most aboard the plane are found dead. The team's investigation leads them to discovering a horrifying strain that is the source of an ancient evil known only as a myth throughout human history.
