Mason, a gritty, no nonsense detective, protects his city and loved ones by relentlessly attacking crime and arresting criminals. When his wife is murdered by someone he put away, Mason vows vengeance. He deliberately gets himself arrested and placed in the same prison as the one who killed his wife in order to get revenge. While there, he stumbles across a criminal enterprise that could mean the end of his own life if he exposes it.
