Hank Lawson had everything he needed in life: a beautiful fiancee and a highly successful career as a talented diagnostic doctor at a prestigious New York City hospital. One day all of that changes when a trustee of the hospital becomes ill and Hank is unable to treat him. Hank gets fired and then blacklisted from performing medicine in New York and soon after his fiancee leaves him. Eventually his brother Evan becomes tired of Hank's moping and convinces him to go to the Hamptons for a weekend getaway. While there, Hank crashes a party and accidentally saves the life of one of the town's wealthiest residents who offers him a job as a concierge doctor.
