The League is a new sitcom that takes place in Chicago and follows the lives of young ne'er-do-wells as they navigate the realities of fantasy football and relationships. Peter Eckhart is one of the show's main characters. As a multiple Fantasy Football champion, Peter gives advice to other cast members but suffers through some romantic mishaps along the way. Kevin MacArthur, a district attorney on the show, is slightly more inept at fantasy football and takes his fantasy-football cues from his wife, Jenny. A lot of the low-hanging-fruit punchlines slam Dr. Andre Nowzick, a plastic surgeon who dresses well and lacks any skill at predicting football scores.
