Awkward is a half hour show that takes place on MTV. Starring Ashley Rickards, the show is based on the life of a young, awkward but very pretty high school girl. The main character, Jenna Hamilton, spent most of her first high school year being close to invisible. She had a few friends, but no one really notices her. All of that changes when a hilarious accident takes place at her home. Everyone thinks that Jenna tried to kill herself, but in truth she was just incredibly clumsy. The "suicide attempt" makes Jenna an instant celebrity at her high school, which changes her life forever.
