A news anchor maintains a strong relationship with viewers but struggles to effectively communicate with his co-workers. When his typically calm demeanor crumbles in public, he is forced to weather a storm of professional and personal proportions. He returns to his job to find that he has been basically abandoned by his former news team and now must adjust to a new group of colleagues while finding his footing as an anchor again.
