Chicago P.D. is a spin-off of the popular Chicago Fire. Chicago P.D. follows two distinct groups: the uniformed cops that patrol the street and fight crime directly and the Intelligence Unit that takes on the large-scale problems like organized crime, serial killers and the drug trade. The television show follows Sergeant Hank Voight, head of Intelligence and the team struggling to work beneath his constant demands. Life is a daily constant in Chicago P.D., from those working the patrol on the streets who dream of becoming a part of the elite intelligence force one day, to those already in the elite force and struggling to stay afloat.
