Stuck between a rock and a hard place, young Elena Michaels lives the struggle of balancing two lives. On one hand she lives the normal life of a young woman with Philip, her boyfriend, in Toronto. On the other, blood is thicker than water. In upstate New York, Elena belongs to a family who is bound by more than a last name. To say they're tight knit is an understatement, because Elena's family is actually a pack of werewolves. To further complicate things, Elena's former fiance, Clayton, is a member of that very pack. Elena grew tired of her werewolf life and intended to leave it in her past. When the pack leader calls her, imploring her to come back, she can't turn her back on the pack that she, by nature, feels obligated to protect.
