A bio-research station in the Arctic is in danger. Scientists from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are being sent to the research station to investigate. Dr. Alan Farragut is asked by his ex-wife, Dr. Julia Walker, to help investigate the facility because his brother, Peter, is one of the infected. They're unsure of the cause of the outbreak or what kind of infection they are dealing with when they arrive at the facility. They try to examine Farragut's brother who is in horrible shape. His vital signs are erratic and black lines run down the length of his neck. When Farragut tries to examine Peter, the man freaks out and tries to attack him with a vial of tainted blood. The team must investigate the facility to figure out what's killing people. They examine other patients as well as one corpse. While asking questions, they realize that one of the workers in the facility is lying to them then Peter escapes his confines. They must track him down, find out why they are being lied to and identify the virus before it spreads and infects the rest of the facility and the world.
