Olivia Lockhart is a judge in the small town of Cedar Cove, Washington and is considered the town's most upstanding citizen. While Olivia makes being the golden child of the town look easy, it is anything but. She has problems juggling the fact that she has a career, a family and a sometimes difficult romantic life. Somehow she manages to balance her life and give the town she loves the even handed justice that it needs and deserves. Olivia's struggles change from day to day and yet she continues to find a way to make Cedar Cove a better place to live.
