It's been two years since Mark Fisher mysteriously vanished in what had all the earmarks of an alien abduction. His friend Seth, who was the last to see Mark alive, is suffering under a cloud of suspicion that he engineered the disappearance. Haunted by the past, Seth lives in a trauma-induced state of numbness. When Mark suddenly appears sporting unusual abilities, Seth is determined to discover the truth of what really happened to his friend. But Mark has changed completely. As a series of violent murders baffles local authorities, Seth begins to realize that his friend is no longer quite human.
