Zach and Hannah Wade find themselves in a difficult situation when the small plane they are in develops engine trouble. The pilot is injured and the kids must seek help for him. They set off on an adventure that tests their strength and willpower. Their trusty dog, Chinook, helps them along their path. The wilderness can be a scary place for young children. It is often an exciting place to be because it is full of beauty. It is also a scary place full of wild creatures that pose a threat to the trio. Zach and Hannah?s parents set out on a course to help find their children. Rescue crews are assembled, and the race is on to bring them back home where they belong. The rescue team finds the pilot only to realize that the children are missing. The siblings are lost for a few days, and their skills and instincts are the most important tools they have in order to come out of the ordeal alive and well.
