The Ultimate Life is about that very thing: In a world of instant gratification and overstimulation and not much substance in the meantime, what does it mean to find your destiny? What does it mean, and what does it feel like, to live a life worth living? Life is short, and at the end of it, will you be able to look back and be proud of yours? That's the question that Jason Stevens' grandpa left for him in a journal. Of course that's not all he left him. When Jason Stevens stumbles upon his granddad's old journal, he finds a recounting of a life which causes him to really sit down and examine his own. Then again, a surprise bequest of more than a billion dollars would cause anyone to take a step back. The only trouble is, now everyone wants a piece of him. Jason's love life is on the rocks, his family, having decided to challenge the estate, is taking him to court, and with his last dime tied up in legal limbo, he stands to lose everything - which is exactly the vehicle The Ultimate Life uses to help the viewer examine what it means to truly live life.
