Mike Ross is both a genius and a college drop out. After a drug deal goes sour, he hides out by sneaking into a job interview with Harvey Specter, who's one of NYC's most well-known legal closers. Harvey recognizes Mike's talent and decides to hire him on a whim, taking a chance after becoming bored with a long line of typical college graduates. The pair become an excellent team. Harvey is in many way's Mike's mentor, and though they often drive each other up the wall, they also have a profound bond. Mike learns more about himself and about practicing law while ducking the questions of people around them. The pair of men must keep the secret about how Mike was hired if they want Mike to be able to keep his job.
