"Once Upon a Time" is a world where every fairy tale ever told happened, but not in the way you've heard it before. Before she became Queen, Snow White's stepmother, Regina, saved her life. In a final act of desperation, Regina sends every fairy tale creature into our world. They have no idea who they really are or that time has frozen around them. When a young boy shows up on Emma Swan's doorstep on her 28th birthday, claiming that he's the son she gave up for adoption and that he was adopted by the Evil Queen in the Snow White story, she doesn't believe him. She doesn't believe him when he claims her parents are Snow White and Prince Charming. But when she returns him to Storybrooke, she's unable to leave. She must break the spell holding everyone captive and save the life of the boy she's come to love.
