Drop Dead Diva follows an intelligent, big-hearted attorney whose plus-sized body is currently inhabited by the soul of a vapid, selfish, aspiring model. Horrified to discover she is now in the body of a fat girl, and terrified of what's expected of her, she's ready to chuck the life of a lawyer. Ready, that is, until she discovers her fiance is a lawyer with the same firm. He can't know who she really is, but she just can't keep away from him. With the help of an angel and her best friend, she navigates her way through this new world, integrating the best parts of both personalities in the process.
