What First Wives Club did for divorced women, The Single Moms Club may do for the legion of women in this country who either by necessity or choice are raising their children on their own without benefit of a father or partner in the picture. This comedy with dramatic overtones focuses on what transpires after one incident of vandalism is reported at the local school. Unmarried mothers from a wide spectrum of social and economic backgrounds find themselves brought together to find a solution to prevent future destruction at the school. But what the women discover is that their unexpected meeting to solve one problem facing them will be transformed into a unique support group that is destined to help them face many future obstacles in their lives.
