Faraday is a man from another planet who makes his way to Earth on a desperate mission. Climate change has ravaged his own world making it a vast desert where lack of water threatens all life. He seeks out the help of Justin, a disgraced MIT professor, to help him build a new kind of quantum energy generator to take back to his planet. But Faraday is starting from scratch, not knowing English and struggling to understand a strange world that is totally alien to him. Together, Faraday and Justin must overcome tremendous odds to achieve a near-impossible mission.
