Language Lessons is a comedy-drama about two people bonding through the use of video technology, showing that friendships can be created despite the distances between us. Carino is a tutor hired by a client to teach his husband, Adam, Spanish through a course of 100 online lessons. Adam and Carino become good friends, overcoming the barrier that their genders and lifestyles potentially create while using the language as a way to further that bond. Unexpectedly, a tragedy pushes them closer together and begins to blur the lines between the professional and the personal aspects of their lives.
