A talking cat devises a scheme with his band of rodents to con villagers out of money as they travel from town to town. The rats pretend to infest the town and the villagers hire a young boy who plays a tune on his pipe and pretends to drive all of the rats away. The young boy is also an accomplice and the entire group splits the money and together they move on to their next town of gullible people.
