Wolf is an Irish-Polish film centering around the concept of species dysphoria, a legitimate mental ailment based on believing one is an animal trapped in a human body. Jacob suffers from this condition, insisting that he's a wolf. He is relocated to a clinic called a zoo, a facility that specializes in tackling the illness. However, the therapist in charge, termed a zookeeper, uses methods considered extreme to break the habits that these individuals hold dear. Jacob battles the stress of addressing who he really is while also being seen by the other patients as a hero.
