After finding genetically modified canola seeds in his crops, Canadian farmer Percy Schmeiser sets out to confront the large conglomerate he holds responsible. As his quest gains national and international fame, he comes to realize that he is representing farmers across the globe who have seen their small farms, and the world's food supply, damaged by unrelenting corporate greed. The ensuing legal battle to determine ownership of the seeds and crops puts the struggle to save small farms front and center.
