Sarah and Doug, a newly engaged couple, discover their dream home while house hunting. The house, backyard and pool look perfect in every way, which immediately makes them wonder why the place is still on the market. When they ask the realtor, they're shown that the previous owner's friend, a drug addict and party animal, refuses to leave the guest house. No one has ever had any success with permanently removing him. The couple decide to take the house anyway, but soon learn that their attempts to remove this unwanted guest threaten to ruin every aspect of their lives, including their marriage and safety.
