6.1A Catholic teenager named Alice, who is from the Midwest, begins an online chat in the early 2000s that leads her to start experimenting with and exploring her sexuality in ways that she feels is forbidden by her religion. Her guilty conscience causes her to decide to go to a religious retreat in order to try to get help with suppressing her carnal desires. But while she is at the retreat, another attendee she is attracted to starts flirting with her, and she becomes even more confused, especially after she discovers the truth about some of the other things that's been going on there.
