Based on Jacqueline Wilson's book, Four Kids and It is a British fantasy film. David and Alice, two single parents who fall in love, decide to unite their less than enthusiastic kids for a relaxing seaside vacation. Though initially hesitant around each other, the kids begin exploring and encounter Psammead, a magical creature with the power to grant wishes. The kids and Psammead create mischievous havoc, earning the attention of eccentric local Tristan, who wants the powers all to himself. The ensuing adventure brings both families together and delivers a message that change can be a good thing.
