Doctor Who is a British science fiction TV show that has been on the air since 1960s. It had a reboot in 2005 which brought it to more modern times. The show follows The Doctor, an alien from the Time Lord species which is all but extinct, and his time- and space-travel machine called the TARDIS. The Doctor travels through numerous points in time on Earth and other places in the galaxy essentially fixing things that go wrong. Alien invasions, monster attacks, evil corporations and mysterious events are all taken care of by the Doctor, usually with a human partner to help him navigate the dangers.
