After the last Purge event has ended, and the presidential election from the previous year is over, a group of rebellious outsiders who feel like the annual killing spree should not have been stopped after daybreak, as the rules state, plan to go on a murderous rampage of their own in a Texas town. They end up running into an immigrant couple from Mexico who are on the run from a dangerous drug cartel in their country. After the couple gets stranded on a ranch in the area, they fall into the hands of the unlawful group, and before long, the criminals will turn against them and plan their demise.
