A mythical superhero is thought to have died when he went missing after having his last known battle twenty years ago, but when a young boy learns that the superhero may still be alive, his curiosity prompts him to set out on an adventurous journey to try to see if he can find him, in hopes of forging a special friendship with him while convincing him to come out of hiding so he can once again use his skills and experience to help the world fight off the bad guys. The two form the kind of father-son bond that the boy has always wanted and needed in his life.
