Nearly 100 years after a devastating nuclear war, all of humanity is confined to a small number of ships in space, and every crime committed by anyone over eighteen is punishable by death. For the people under eighteen, there's no more room for them. All one hundred juvenile delinquents are sent back to Earth to see if it's capable of sustaining life again. When they get to Earth, they realize that not all of humanity was wiped out, and that the people on Earth are hostile to new visitors. The 100 have to band together in order to survive on a planet where everyone else wants them dead.
