Dave is not ready to go forward in his life, so he decides to slack off while caring for his nephew. In an attempt to get some time with a local teacher, Dace volunteers to tag along with on a field trip. Suddenly the day out becomes a nightmare as a zombie outbreak occurs near them. The pair, along with a children's TV star, must save the kids as well as each other.
