When a couple begin expecting their first child Will flies out to ask Samantha's parents for their daughter's hand in marriage. While away, Will is contacted by Sam and the call disconnects after Will hears a strange noise. Will soon learns that an incredible seismic event happened back where his girlfriend was staying. Will then travels, amidst roadblocks and other obstacles, to reunite with his pregnant girlfriend. Upon closing in to Seattle, where they are from, he sees the the entire city has been destroyed. Can Will find Sam among the rubble?
