The Americans is a television drama that follows a couple in the U.S. in the 1980s. The couple, Elizabeth and Phillip, negotiate normal american lives, including raising teenage children, holding down jobs as travel agents, and building relationships with their neighbors (like FBI agent Stan Beeman). All the while, Elizabeth and Phillip are working as clandestine Russian spies and agents, completing missions for their handlers. The sixth and final season is airing this spring.
