Set in the world of mixed martial arts, Kingdom explores what it means to be a family despite facing violence and turbulence on every front. Alvey, a fighter turned trainer, is struggling to make ends meet with his gym while dealing with the problems of his two adult sons. Jay, the eldest, is a free-spirited drug addict who's fallen out of the MMA lifestyle thanks to his many benders. Nate, the youngest, is a promising fighter with a big secret: his homosexuality.
