A young French boy, who is known by the nickname "Zucchini," struggles to find his place in his new home and the wider world after his mother disappears suddenly. His newfound friendships with a police office named Ray and the other children he meets at his new foster home help him adjusts to his the circumstances in which he finds himself and begins to learn to once again count on those who care for him.
